Company Name Award Did You Know?
The Aerospace Corporation #1 Program Winner We celebrate National Intern Day by transforming our campus into a high‑energy themed festival that fuels intern enthusiasm and strengthens connection. Alongside inflatables, music, and great food, the standout favorites are our executive dunk tank and the “Pie the CEO” booth. These high‑spirited experiences break down hierarchy, spark genuine interactions with leadership, and create unforgettable moments that leave interns feeling connected, valued, and excited to be part of our mission.
MIT Lincoln Laboratory Public Service Award One of the most anticipated parts of our internship program is the Intern Innovative Idea Challenge (I³C), a Shark Tank-style competition where interns form cross-functional teams to tackle national security challenges. Throughout the summer, teams develop and pitch their ideas directly to MIT Lincoln Laboratory senior leaders. It's a rare opportunity for interns to innovate, collaborate, and influence thinking on real-world problems.
Garver Intern Growth Award Garver is led by a President and CEO who started his career as a Garver intern more than 30 years ago, along with a number of directors who are also former interns. Their journeys from internship to leadership showcase the strength of our intern-to-full-time pipeline and our commitment to growing talent from within. We believe a strong internship program helps shape the future of our industry, and by investing in our people, we support long-term success for both our employees and the firm.
T-Mobile Innovation Award Not all of our interns are students. Through our Magenta Accelerator, some are current T-Mobile frontline employees, the people who answer your calls and work our stores, spending 11 weeks interning in corporate roles. Many go on to full-time careers shaping the very products and experiences they once delivered to customers. At T-Mobile, your next career chapter can start from anywhere.
Soil and Materials Engineers Small But Mighty Award Many of our leaders started as co-ops and former participants now serve in various leadership roles across the company. In fact, our very first co-op, who joined before the program had a formal name, stayed for his entire 38-year career, where he has been a Technician, Field Engineer, Coordinator, Project Manager, Radiation Safety Officer, Team Leader, Group Leader, Business Unit Leader, and Vice President, and will retire this year. That's the kind of career journey we hope to help inspire.
