Liz Centoni, EVP, Chief Strategy Officer, and General Manager of Applications @ Cisco

For those interested in strategy and operations, hear from the Chief Strategy Officer and GM of Applications at Cisco, Liz Centoni. Liz partners with the Executive Leadership team, other General Managers, and functional leaders to drive the company’s overall strategic direction, and leads a team incubating emerging solutions to create new markets and businesses for Cisco. Prior to this role, Liz was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Cloud, Compute, and IoT business where she drove the business and engineering strategy for this global portfolio. Mentorship, talent development, and leadership are important priorities for Liz, and she is an active mentor and sponsor of underrepresented groups. She is the Cisco Global Executive Sponsor for the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.

Red Sea Ventures typically invests in Seed and Series A companies, and has many successful companies in its portfolio, from Outdoor Voices to Nest, Sweetgreen, and WayUp. Scott is the recipient of the Young Peace Maker Award for his outstanding leadership in and dedication to supporting the mission of Seeds of Peace and the YLC. Scott grew up in Paris and attended Georgetown University and Fordham law school.

She is the president of the board of the Texas Conference for Women and the incoming chair of the Austin Community Foundation.
